Daiquiri Ryan Mercado is a Tejana and first-generation lawyer with passion, equity, and justice at the core of her work. With roots in Dallas, Phoenix, and Washington, DC, she has dedicated her career to being a movement-builder, policy expert, and change-maker. In 2023, Daiquiri sold her previous business to delve deeper into advocacy strategy and focus on community-led field development projects via éxito &co.

Her passion for justice-based work stems from her multi-racial, multicultural, and mixed-ability upbringing, as well as her first protest curation effort in middle school. Daiquiri is a proud alumna of Arizona State University and The George Washington University School of Law. She currently lives and works in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband, José, their baby boy, Gael, and their two pups, Lupita and Lucy.
