Jacquelyn Puente

Jackie Puente is an experienced business leader in the content and connectivity sector, and presently Vice President of External Affairs at Comcast Corporation, the parent company of Comcast Cable, NBCUniversal, and Sky. Since 2012, Jackie’s role has grown to include responsibility for strategic alliances with diverse stakeholders on issues related to brand and reputation, government affairs, community impact, and communications in one of the most dynamic companies in the world. With deep knowledge of internet service providers, as well as emerging challenges in the evolving video marketplace, Jackie advises company leadership on hot-button issues and advocacy campaigns involving civil rights, disability rights, labor, and immigrant rights groups. Throughout her career Jackie has served as a trusted translator between public, private, and nonprofit entities, and she has focused on delivering results to empower vulnerable communities with digital equity to achieve economic growth and Opportunity.

Prior to joining Comcast, Jackie advised executives on a range of telecommunications, tax, and infrastructure issues. Jackie has a strong reputation for building coalitions on high profile issues combining her passion for government affairs strategy, business development, and media at the federal, state, and local levels.

A graduate from American University’s School of International Service, Jackie participated in the National Association for Minorities in Communications (NAMIC) Executive Leadership Development Program at the University Of Virginia Darden School Of Business. She was a 2004 National Security Education Program David L. Boren Scholar in Moscow, Russia at Moscow International University.

Jackie is an active board member and advisor to many national organizations and campaigns that seek to empower business leaders and advocate for economic opportunity for all Americans, including as Chairwoman of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Jackie is also a Director of LOCUS, a social impact fund in Richmond, Virginia. She lives in Potomac, Maryland with her husband and children.
