Kenley Joseph
Kenley Joseph is Tech and Telecom Policy Counsel at the Multicultural Media, Telecom & Internet Council (MMTC), where he focuses on advocating for and educating multicultural communities. Among the topics he covers are telecommunications developments, equitable spectrum access, artificial intelligence, and broadband. Kenley also publishes a quarterly column on artificial intelligence, advocating for the inclusion of Black and other minority communities to ensure equitable societal gains and mitigated risks.
Prior to joining MMTC, Kenley was an Associate in the Communications and Media Group at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. In this role, he handled many matters of regulatory compliance ranging from program carriage complaints, local franchise renewals, and wireless spectrum proceedings before local franchise authorities and the Federal Communications Commission. Kenley also assisted with litigation efforts involving state and local taxation of streaming and other broadband-delivered services.
Kenley obtained his bachelor's degrees in psychology and philosophy from Florida Atlantic University. Upon graduation, he went to Howard University School of Law for his Juris Doctorate, where he graduated cum laude.
