Matthew Low

Matt Low is the Professional Staff Member covering technology, cybersecurity, and immigration policy for the House Committee on Small Business’s Democratic staff, a role he has held for more than three years.

A native of New York’s Lower East Side, Matt is a descendant of Chinese and Chinese-Cuban immigrants, with family roots in the United States dating back to the 19th century. His experience on Capitol Hill includes internships with the offices of Congresswoman Nydia M. Velázquez, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Small Business, and then-Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Master of Public Administration from American University.
